Fitment
Filter element for classic VW and Audi 1.8L–2.0L 8-valve L4 engines (ABA, AEG, BEV, AWW, AZG engine codes, approximately 1993–2006). Fits VW Golf, Jetta, Beetle, Cabrio, Passat and Audi TT (1.8T and 2.0L non-turbo applications from this era). Used inside the Mann W71930 housing.
Important Notes
Classic-generation element for the older oil filter housings used on pre-2007 VW/Audi 4-cylinder engines. These engines use a spin-on style housing (W71930) unlike the newer cartridge-only designs. Replace both the element and the housing O-ring at each service.
