Fitment

Filter element for BMW 3.0L inline-6 engines: N51, N52, N54 (twin-turbo), and N55 (single twin-scroll turbo). Fits BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series, X1, X3, X4, X5, X6, Z4, and M235i/M240i (2006–2018 N-series). Used inside the Mann HU816X housing, alongside the Mahle OX387D secondary element.

Important Notes

The BMW N-series 3.0L inline-6 filter kit requires three components: the HU816X housing, the E61HD215 primary element, and the OX387D secondary element. All three must be replaced at each oil change for a complete service. The secondary element (OX387D) sits above the primary — do not skip it.
