Fitment
Cartridge oil filter housing kit for VW 2.0L TDI (CJAA, 2010–2014 in Golf, Jetta, Beetle, Sportwagen), VW 3.2L–3.6L VR6 (R32, CC, Passat 3.6L, EuroVan), Audi A3/TT Quattro 3.2L V6, and VW Jetta 1.9L TDI (BRM). Also fits early Audi TT Quattro 3.2L and related VR6 applications.
Important Notes
The HU7197X is used for both TDI diesel and VR6 gasoline engines that share this filter housing. The oil spec differs significantly between them — TDI CJAA requires VW 507 00 (5W-30 low-SAPS), while VR6 uses VW 502 00 (5W-40). Always pair with the correct element (E19HD83 or OX188D) and replace the O-ring at each service.
