Fitment
Cartridge oil filter housing kit (primary) for VW GTI, Golf, Jetta, Tiguan, Beetle, CC, Eos, Passat CC, and Audi A3, A4, A5, Q3, Q5, TT, allroad with 2.0T TSI EA113 (engine codes CCTA, CBFA, CAEB, CAED, CPMB, approximately 2008–2016). Also covers Audi TT Quattro with CETA engine code.
Important Notes
The EA113 2.0T uses two oil filters: this W71945 cartridge (primary) and the Mahle OC456 spin-on (secondary). Both must be replaced at each oil change. The secondary filter (OC456) is located at the side of the engine block. Skipping it leaves contaminated oil in the secondary circuit. This applies to EA113 engines only — the EA888 does not require a secondary filter.
