Catalogue number 1379A is the Mahle internal reference for the OX983D spin-on oil filter. Fits VW Atlas (2018–2023), Atlas Cross Sport (2020–2023), CC (2011–2017), Passat (2012–2018), Touareg (2012–2017) and Porsche Cayenne 3.6L V6 (2012–2018) with 3.6L VR6 engine.
Important Notes
1379A and OX983D are the same filter. 1379A is the Mahle internal catalogue reference. Parts counters and mechanics use OX983D. Both are physically identical. See also the 2021+ VW Atlas 3.6L CDVC which uses the same filter but different oil spec (VW 504 00 instead of VW 502 00).
